Don't read this, ever

I'm warning you now… if you're going to commit to reading this all the way through, you won't ever be able to sit back in mediocrity, or not go after your big dreams.

You're not going to ever be able to look at failing the same again.

I know - you think failing is a bad thing, but I want to show you why that's not true. I also want to help you fail in a way that will change how you look at failure all together.

Yep - that's right, learn how to fail better.

The reason this is so important, is because many of you aren't living - you're existing. You aren't putting yourself out there because you're afraid of failing.

You're not thriving friend….you're just going through the motions.

Ask yourself this - why do you want to avoid failing?

The fear of failure (or anything for that matter) comes from our thoughts.

The reason you are avoiding failure is because you are trying to avoid what you're going to feel if and when that happens.

Here is the good news - You have complete control over what you're avoiding.

You have control over what your avoiding feeling, because you have control over what you think.

When you fail at something, you get to decide what it means.

Most of the time, people make failure mean something negative, something that hurts.

You have a thought about yourself or the situation that causes you pain. So you want to avoid that at all costs in the future.

You can control exactly what you make failure mean to you and about you.

You can decide that it means you're a loser and nothing is ever going to go right for you. Those thoughts are going to make you feel like crap, and you won't want to feel that way again. You won't put yourself out there anymore for fear of feeling like crap again.

But you could just as easily decide that you didn't reach your goal this time, but now you know what didn't work, and you can just try again.

You might not be excited about it, but that isn't going to cause you pain like thinking you're worthless because you failed will!

What are you putting on hold in your life, because you're afraid of failing?

Remember, you can make not meeting your expectations or failing mean anything you want it to - you don't have to make it mean something that hurts you.

Try this:

  1. Determine ahead of time what you are going to think about reaching or not reaching your goal.

  2. Take massive action towards your goals. That means that you keep going until you get your result. It means that you KEEP GOING even when you fail.

  3. When you fail, don't make it mean something negative about who you are.

Come on sis - it's time to start THRIVING and not just living life by going through the motions!
